LS Adaptive began with a small moment that carried a lot of weight.

When our founder, Emily, stepped away from her career to care for her parents, she saw firsthand how capable her father Leo still was. He cooked. He joked. He showed up every day with resilience and grit. But there was one moment that kept slowing him down.

The top button on his pants.

It was a small task, but it took time. It took energy. And over time, it quietly chipped away at something deeper. Independence. Confidence. Dignity. Watching her father struggle with something so ordinary made one thing clear. This was not about clothing. It was about the ability to move through the day on your own terms.

That moment changed everything.

Leo and Sue are the heart behind LS Adaptive.

They represent millions of people navigating mobility changes, chronic conditions, injury, aging, or recovery while still wanting to live fully and independently. Their strength, humor, and determination inspired a simple but powerful question.
